REVIEW:
I’ve had this book on my TBR list for quite some time, so I’m glad to finally have a chance to read it. Don’t… begins when Jack, a mechanic/martial arts instructor, who is a sub in a very exclusive group meets the beautiful and alluring Jan. Jack and Jan hit it off right away, but at the same time, Jack has a stalker messing with him. Jack is soon forced to reveal his BDSM lifestyle to Jan, including introducing Jan to his dom, Gray. Before either of them know what hit them, Jan gets thrown into Jack and Gray’s world. Jan is new to BDSM, but he’s willing to try for Jack. However, nothing is easy for them, and while things go downhill for the three men, an unknown danger lurks around the corner.
This book was extremely hot with some scary scenes mixed in. Jack’s toying with a stalker fantasy had a lot of potential to go wrong, and even though it was a fantasy, the group’s need for so much security was a testament to just how dangerous their games could be. Though a lot of the book revolved around a BDSM relationship, that bit of playing with dangerous concepts and the unknown actors kept me on edge. In addition to the suspense, I loved the switching and how Jan tried so hard to be what he thought Jack needed him to be. There was definitely a lot going on, but it all came together so nicely in the end. I look forward to reading more in this series. I recommend Don’t… to anyone who loves m/m dark erotica and dark BDSM.
