REVIEW:
I’m a big fan of all things psychic, especially when it deals with precognition, so this book was a lot of fun to read. Seven begins in Chase’s viewpoint. He’s down on his luck, having just been fired when he meets his hot, but very crazy neighbor. Chase is drawn to the man who calls himself, Seven, even though he feels like it’s wrong to like a guy who he’s convince is mentally ill. It’s only after a chance, drunken encounter between the two that Seven comes out and reveals to Chase that he’s not really crazy. Though Seven explains his situation and how he escaped from being a lab rat in an underground experiment, Chase doesn’t believe it until he comes in contact with the people Seven refers to as “Others.” While they struggle to end the abuses against the other precogs, Chase and Seven grow close.
This book was an action-packed erotic science fiction. I loved the world building, and the sex scenes were extremely hot. Though the other characters such as nine, four, three, thirteen, and eighteen were sometimes difficult to tell apart due to the numbers in the place of names, they all had very distinct personalities which I sorted out well before the end. As for Stone, he was an evil, twisted villain and I liked seeing his viewpoint. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next installment in the series. I recommend Seven to anyone who loves m/m erotic romance, and action-packed dark sci-fi.
